Understanding refunds for CountiQ purchases
Effective date: September 1, 2025
1. Overview
CountiQ purchases are processed through Apple App Store and Google Play Store. All refunds are subject to the policies and procedures of these platforms. We do not directly process refund requests.
2. Apple App Store Refunds
For iOS users: • Refunds are handled directly by Apple through the App Store. • You can request a refund within the timeframe specified by Apple's refund policy. • To request a refund: Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find your CountiQ purchase, and select 'Request a refund'. • Apple typically processes refund requests within 48 hours. • Refund eligibility is determined by Apple's terms and conditions.
3. Google Play Store Refunds
For Android users: • Refunds are handled directly by Google through Google Play Store. • You have 48 hours from purchase to request an automatic refund. • To request a refund: Open Google Play Store > Menu > Account > Order history > Find CountiQ purchase > Request a refund. • For requests after 48 hours, contact Google Play support directly. • Refund eligibility is determined by Google's terms and conditions.
4. Subscription Cancellations
To cancel your CountiQ subscription: For iOS: • Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions • Find CountiQ and tap it • Tap 'Cancel Subscription' For Android: • Open Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions • Find CountiQ and tap it • Tap 'Cancel subscription' Note: Canceling prevents future charges but doesn't automatically refund current billing period.
5. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered for: • Technical issues that prevent app functionality • Accidental purchases (especially by children) • Billing errors or duplicate charges • Significant app changes that affect core functionality Refunds are typically NOT available for: • Change of mind after using premium features • Dissatisfaction with app features after trial period • Requests made long after purchase date
6. Free Trial Periods
CountiQ may offer free trial periods for premium features: • You can cancel anytime during the trial without charge • If you don't cancel before trial ends, you'll be charged for the subscription • Cancel through your App Store or Google Play account settings • Trial cancellation takes effect at the end of the trial period
7. Billing Issues
For billing problems: • Check your App Store or Google Play purchase history first • Verify the purchase was made with your account • Contact Apple or Google support for billing disputes • We can provide purchase confirmation if needed for your refund request
8. Data After Refund
If you receive a refund: • Your premium features will be deactivated • Your account data remains intact for potential future use • No data is deleted automatically due to refunds • You can continue using free features of CountiQ
9. Multiple Platform Purchases
If you have CountiQ on multiple devices: • Each platform (iOS/Android) handles refunds separately • Refund on one platform doesn't affect other platform subscriptions • You may need to cancel/refund on each platform individually
10. Refund Processing Time
Refund processing times: • Apple App Store: Typically 48 hours for approval, 3-5 business days for money to appear • Google Play Store: Instant for 48-hour window, 3-5 business days for others • Processing time depends on your payment method and bank • Contact your bank if refund doesn't appear within expected timeframe

While we cannot directly process refunds, our support team can: • Help troubleshoot technical issues that might resolve your concerns • Provide purchase confirmation details for your refund request • Guide you through the appropriate refund process for your platform • Answer questions about app features and functionality

This refund policy may be updated to reflect: • Changes in App Store or Google Play policies • New features or subscription options • Legal requirements in different regions • Continued use of CountiQ indicates acceptance of updated policies
